Editorial Guidelines

Tech Origin is a place for collaboration and we love to hear from journalists, PRs, writers and academics who have interesting, inspirational and cutting-edge opinions and stories to share.

But we must always maintain a level of integrity and professionalism within our publication. If you’re interested in submitting a story for our site, please consider the below editorial guidelines:

Editorial Goals

We aim to inspire and intrigue our audience with our articles. Our readers are very technically savvy so please keep that in mind when submitting content, anything that’s considered to be too basic or broad, or out of date will not be published.

Feel free to create heavily technical content for our site that gives a deep-dive perspective into your chosen topic. We don’t mind opinion pieces, if you have a prediction about the future of tech or you’d like to share your ideas, please feel free to do so, but with the caveat that this is only your opinion.

Tech Origin is a place for collaboration, if you’ve seen an article in our publication that you’d like to create a rebuttal for, please submit that. Or if you’d like to submit a collaborative piece from more than one author, we’d also welcome this.

We like to create content in many different formats, if you’d rather submit a video or would like people to know about your latest podcast, report or whitepaper, please also submit these for consideration.

Editorial Values

As much as we like to share high-quality reports and papers, we will not share messaging that directly sells your products and services.

Please consider your sales messaging throughout your article and consider if your submission has enough educational value and expert opinion for our readership. Any article considered too ‘salesy’ by our editorial team will not be published.

Editorial Integrity

We take our editorial integrity very seriously. If we discover any attempt at plagiarism or the submission of content written by an AI, we will remove the story and ban the user from submitting further work.
